Restaurante Galpon 22

We were a family of four visiting this restaurant for the first time, and from the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and he took the time to suggest dishes that suited each of us perfectly. What really stood out was his confidence when recommending the rib-eye steak to me — he said, “If this isn’t the best rib-eye in town, it’s on the house.” Well, I ended up happily paying for it, because it truly was the best I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and incredibly tender. The entire meal was a delight, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was warm, lively, and inviting. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish — we’ll definitely be coming back.

A great experience, and not entirely about the food. I had a tuna tataki that was perfectly executed. The t-bone for two was perfectly cooked, but lacked a beefy oomph, probably under-aged. So why 5 stars? Most people would be blown away by the steak, the tuna and everything else on the menu. And the service is delightfully entertaining, bordering on the zany. It's in the heart of the busy Old Town, and clearly aimed at tourists, but what's wrong with that? Thoroughly enjoyable, and I'd go again for the fun, and the food.

Simply the best fillet steak I've ever had. The staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed. This was the best meal we had on our 7 day holiday in Estepona. Good selection of wine too.

Excellent wine, superb rib eye steak and attentive service! The outdoor seating had great ambiance and their desert was delicious. I haven’t a negative thing to say about this restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience here with amazing food and enthusiastic staff. We were very warmly greeted and looked after throughout the evening which we appreciated. The food was outstanding and perfectly timed between courses, we left nothing behind! The atmosphere is wonderful as the restaurant is a nice size and well located. There are no faults. Thank you for a memorable evening.

What a fantastic restaurant. We were in Estepona for 10 days and ate here on 4 occasions, and we wished we had eaten here more. We enjoyed the steaks, lamb chops , Iberian pork, and chicken. If you have a big appetite, you'll love the generous portion sizes. They have a very good wine selection, and the cheesecake( have I told you about the cheesecake) was fabulous . Add to this great professional and friendly service you've got a restaurant well worth visiting again and again. We will be returning in September, Adios, for now.

Pil Pil Prawns, Entrecôte, Chocolate Mousse - all really good - thank you. Slightly slow on the waiting, but to be expected given how popular it is, if you don’t mind that.

We had a lovely meal. Great meat, good ambiance, everything homemade and nice and friendly staff.
